DHL will collect from here Wednesday 29th Dec and Thursday 30th Dec, (the couriers class these two days as ‘working days’) no collections Friday 31st.
Any orders placed online and needed urgently must be ordered before 11am on The Wednesday and Thursday – so please bear this in mind.
This is not the usual collection times, which is usually 3pm!
Sadly we are unable to dispatch ‘large items’ (climbing frames, swing frames, slides, swing poles) over the festive period – the couriers who carry the ‘large items’ are not collecting until 4th January.
Normal courier service resumes in the New Year!
Most items are available to collect here from our shop, however if you would prefer we can send them direct to your home address. Please note, that next day is the next next working day, (Mon- Fri) not including weekends and bank holidays. We can deliver on a Saturday if needed, however an additional fee applies, please call for a price.
If purchasing from N. Ireland, Offshore Islands, Scottish Highlands and postcodes IV, AB, HS, KW, PA, PH, PH, ZE. BT, IM, TR21-25 please call or email before ordering for a shipping price. Due to our courier rates unfortunately we cannot deliver to these areas for the standard delivery fee.
Sadly we are unable to ship overseas to Jersey & Guernsey but happy to ship to any UK port
Some of our larger playframes (Action and Creative) are delivered direct from the supplier, these are generally delivered within 2-5 working days. TP and Countrywood Playframes Frames are held here in stock, so dispatched from here.
We advise you to check all goods on arrival. If items are delivered direct, check carefully before signing for them. If the parcel appears to be damaged, you can refuse to sign, however please notify us as soon as possible. We must be notified within 24 hours, if not we may be unable to rectify the problem.
Should you refuse a delivery without contacting us first, this would be classed as a ‘customer return’ (unless this has been noted as damaged/faulty) and unfortunately you will be charged the cost of shipping the returned goods.
We aim to dispatch most items as soon as possible, however occasionally problems can occur. Our ‘next day service’ is not 100% guaranteed, we do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered as stated, however once the order has left our premises unforeseeable events are out of our control. Should the delivery van break down, get stuck in traffic or run out of delivery time The Outdoor Toy Centre is not liable for late deliveries.
Most orders dispatched with our couriers (Parcel Force, TNT or UK Mail) will have a tracking number, where customers can look online and track their order.
We’re sure you will be very happy with your purchase, however, if something is not correct, or something is missing, please let us know.
The Outdoor Toy Centre fully complies with ‘The sale and supply of goods to consumers regulations 2002 distance selling regulations’.
For whatever reasons, non-faulty goods can be returned within 28 days of receipt. They need to be returned in the undamaged/ unopened packaging, (as when it arrived) and a full refund will then be given. The customer is responsible for all returns – both on arrangement and cost, so we always recommend proof of purchase and insurance if applicable.
A refund will not be given if the item has been used, is assembled or returned scratched, dented or damaged in any way.
Should you find your item to be faulty or damaged we must know immediately. If the item is damaged we usually ask for a photo to enable us to see the exact problem, and can then advise or replace accordingly. Should you wish to return faulty goods they must be returned (and arrive to us) within 28 days, ( however a returns reference number must be obtained beforehand, then we will advise on shipping). Please do not return items to us until you have received a returns reference number – goods will not be accepted and a refund may not be issued.
Occasionally we are able to re-sell slightly damaged items – these are occasionally listed online (or in the shop) as seconds, slightly marked or shop-soiled: small scratch marks, faded colours, or missing a piece of something – so again on returning, care must be taken when packaging items, and they must arrive well packaged as you received them – returning items unpackaged, in plastic bags or bin liners is not acceptable!
There are some situations where a refund will not be given: Large Wooden Pools, ordered direct from the supplier, Large Wooden Climbing Frames, Playhouses ordered on a ‘direct to door basis’ and bespoke products specifically designed for the individual customer.
If sending something back to us, for your own protection please obtain a receipt of posting; The Outdoor Toy Centre accepts no liability for lost parcels.
